1. Identity, scope and acceptance
1.1 The Student InfoX Hub ("InfoX") is operated by THE STUDENT INFOX HUB LTD, company number 17460540, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 33 Frederick Road, United Kingdom.
1.2 These Terms apply to the InfoX website, information resources, community and paid services. Additional service-specific terms in a written quotation and our Booking and Cancellation Policy apply to bookings.
1.3 No clause limits any rights which cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable legislation.
2. Nature of services
2.1 InfoX provides general information, student-community activities and practical services such as consultations, shortlisting assistance, viewing support, airport arrival coordination and orientation, depending on availability.
2.2 InfoX is not a university, admissions agent, immigration adviser, estate agent or landlord; we do not provide regulated immigration advice. We do not guarantee admissions, visas, employment, accommodation outcomes or any third-party service.
2.3 We explain what we can and cannot do in each quote and deliver accepted services with reasonable care and skill.
3. Website and community
3.1 Content is general information, not bespoke legal, immigration, financial, medical or housing advice. Check official sources and obtain appropriately qualified advice when necessary.
3.2 Users must treat others respectfully, avoid fraud, harassment and unlawful content, and refrain from posting third-party personal data without permission.
3.3 We may moderate or remove abusive content and restrict access where reasonably necessary. Any paid-service rights remain unaffected.
4. Enquiries, pricing and payment
4.1 Tally submission and informal messages constitute enquiries only. We may seek more details and confirm the final scope, pricing and availability in writing.
4.2 We send secure Stripe payment links following agreement. Do not send card details through WhatsApp or email.
4.3 A booking is confirmed only after our express written acceptance and payment verification, as described in the Booking and Cancellation Policy.
4.4 Additional travel, waiting time, extra passengers, additional viewings or special arrangements must be quoted and accepted before charge.
5. Customer responsibilities
5.1 You must give accurate and timely details, including dates, addresses, flight changes and circumstances affecting access or safety.
5.2 You remain responsible for your own decisions about landlords, accommodation, institutions, transport and third-party providers.
5.3 For safeguarding, parents or guardians seeking services on behalf of minors must disclose the student’s age and obtain appropriate consent; service availability for minors must be individually confirmed.
6. Third parties and limitations
6.1 Service delivery may involve vetted ambassadors, transport firms, accommodation agents, software and payment providers. We identify material third-party roles and their applicable terms where relevant.
6.2 We are responsible for our own contractual obligations and for third parties where legally attributable to us; we do not disclaim legal responsibility merely because a contractor is used.
6.3 We are not liable for losses caused solely by inaccurate information provided by a customer, outside our reasonable control, but no exclusion applies where law prohibits it.
6.4 Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or non-excludable statutory rights. Any other limitation of liability applies only to the extent reasonable and lawful; no blanket cap below the service price is intended.
7. Cancellation and service issues
7.1 Our Booking and Cancellation Policy explains statutory cancellation rights, voluntary cancellation, rescheduling and refunds.
7.2 Notify problems promptly so we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide repeat performance, remediation or refund consistent with consumer law.
8. Privacy and intellectual property
8.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Newsletter marketing is optional and independent from community participation.
8.2 Unless otherwise stated, InfoX owns or licenses website content. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted; reproduction for commercial use requires permission.
8.3 Testimonials, images and student stories are published only where appropriate permissions and lawful grounds are held.
9. Changes, governing law and contact
9.1 We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes to an existing booking require agreement or an applicable lawful mechanism; they do not retroactively remove consumer rights.
9.2 The law of England and Wales governs to the extent permitted, without depriving consumers living elsewhere of mandatory protections applicable to them.
9.3 Contact: [email protected] | 33 Frederick Road, United Kingdom.
10. Service delivery and contingencies
10.1 A location or preferred date shown online is not a guarantee of availability. A quotation is subject to staff, contractor, supplier and venue availability until expressly accepted.
10.2 Our ambassadors operate as independent contractors under written agreements. We remain responsible for services we have contracted to provide insofar as required by law and will take reasonable care in selection and coordination.
10.3 We will tell customers when essential service elements are subcontracted or third parties set separate terms. A third-party booking is not confirmed until accepted by that provider.
10.4 We may decline enquiries which cannot be delivered safely, lawfully, reasonably or within available capacity. If payment is taken before acceptance, it will be refunded where no contract is formed.
10.5 Customers must promptly disclose relevant accessibility requirements or any assistance needs so we can assess whether arrangements can be made; we will handle this information appropriately and without unlawful discrimination.
10.6 We may suspend or stop service where there is threatening conduct, abuse, unlawful instructions or an immediate safety risk, taking account of the circumstances and statutory consumer rights.
10.7 Disputes involving a property owner, university or independent transport operator should be raised with the responsible provider as appropriate; this does not remove any responsibility InfoX owes under its own contract.
